Safe gun ownership should start with quality firearms training. Any establishment, in this case a shooting club and facility, has a history of providing a safe location and experienced qualified instructors to provide safety training. Please keep in mind that even a gun safe is not as reliable for safe firearm ownership as knowledge and respect for the machine does.

Keep the range open! It has been there most of my life so it should stay. It provides a safe place to shoot. Without it, people will shoot at gravel pits and open fields that may not be safe for them or neighbors.

Reject the current proposed shooting range ordinance and instead follow the Pierce County Council model and enact a Shooting Range Protection ordinance; Pass a resolution restating the grandfathered status of KRRC and defending the letter of understanding, and the purchase and sale agreement that BOCC entered into with KRRC in 1993 and 2009 respectively.

KRRC is a great place for shooting, training & information about firearns in general. It is a very safe & friendly community resource.

KRRC is a good place to shoot, but it is not the "only resource in Kitsap County providing a training facility and expert instruction specifically for the shooting sports and national defense." However, all shooting facilities in Kitsap County are safe and adequate, and must be allowed to continue operating per the current status quo.

If we don't protect our few and far between local ranges people will just go out to the woods. Ponder that for a moment.

KRRC is a great place to safely exercise our 2nd ammendment rights.
