The ability for people to shoot effectively greatly diminishes the chances for accidental discharges. It teaches Gun Safety in the form of a community of people who are gun enthusiasts who wish to teach their love and respect of firearms. Removing this range will see a dramatic increase in accidental discharges and unsafe gun behavior.

Shutting down or severely limiting organized safe places to shoot encourages people to shoot in other places that might not be so safe. The club has been in place much longer than anyone who is complaining.

Keep our range local and loud.

Recreation comes in all forms and this form has been in place for a lot onger than most of the things that surround it. Please see the folly in legislating this out of our lives. Safe places to shoot can turn into unsafe shooters pretty easily when taken away!

As a veteran of the United States Submarine Service, Kitsap County Sheriffs Office, and a current Master Hunter as well as Hunter Education instructor, I believe that KRRC is a unique and invaluable resource that is invaluable to the community and region. Do not change its staut or impose any new ordinances upon it, or any other ranges currently in use.

I have been shooting at KRRC for over a decade with out any issues. They are a safe organization where members or public can safely use firearms.

With no experience in shooting prior to visiting the range with my husband, my knowledge of weapons was quite limited. After superb guidance from my husband and the staff, I feel much safer handling a pistol and would return to Kitsap Rifle & Revolver to help teach my kids when they are of age.

I've been growing here since I was just a child, it is THE safest place to shoot and I've been to the 4 corners of the continental US. Highly trained staff, high quality facilities, and the atmosphere that safety comes first will keep me returning for the rest of my life.
