When we promote our Art Courses at Recruitment Events we use our Art Shop as a USP - if this closes we can't do this!

This is an integrative part of the creative process. It provides general and bespoke just in time resources for staff and students. One of the shining examples of courses at the University are the arts cources and having this on their doorstep is definite pull for furture students.

This art shop is a great sales tool when engaging with prospective students - to be able to get their materials on campus, at a decent rate is a huge incentive. It would be detrimental to the whole area I believe should this facility go.

The Staffs uni art shop has always been a font of knowledge when it came to presentations and requirements for handing work in. It would be a travesty to see it go. It must be saved.

As silly as it may sounds, i'm pretty sure i'm not alone when i say, there have been countless times i have needed a little help, a little advice and at times a little cheering up and the staff in the art shop are amazing. They can tell you pretty much exactly what you need even when you explain it in complete brain-melted-final-year-stress-mode. This art shop made my already rock solid hard degree just a little easier and it's not just due to the fact you can everything you need right down the corridor so you don't have to stop your study, it's the knowledge and advice. To get rid of the art shop and the help it provides would be a major diservice to the students of Staffordshire University .
