The art shop is invaluable to us as students with limited budgets. They are so helpful and willing to get in materials for us as requested. Makes no sense to close an art shop in the middle of an arts campus. Crazy.

What an absolute joke "funding issues" shouldn't even cross their minds with such a huge increase in tuition fees we pay £9000 every academic year to have one of our most beneficial resources taken away is just disgusting.

If you want a few more degree failures onto you university statistics then get rid of the art shop... If you want more 1st and 2:1's on your university statistics I suggest you keep the art shop so students have easier access to vital facilities that the university are meant to provide! What is the point in us paying so much for our degrees to get nothing in return for our money?

i cant believe this is even being considered, its important to have an art shop on campus!! without materials, how are students able to create? ...its an easy turn to having the art shop.. there has been many a time when ive been producing work and ran across to the shop to buy something im missing. ..if the shop wasnt there, it would mean wasting half a day travelling into town to get supplies.. when i could be in the studio.
