The art shop was an invaluable resource for me while I was at Staffs, there were regularly queues outside the door waiting for it to open, the photography resources there are not available to buy in shops anywhere near Stoke, having to wait days for an internet order to arrive just wouldn't have been an option. Valuable work time would be wasted having to go out to get materials if the art shop was closed and it would be a terrible shame and a detriment to students if this resource is taken away.

ridiculous to close it. Us art students have to suffer while everyone is ok! We pay the same amount of fees!! I expect some money back for the cost of me going to get art supplies if the shop closes

I believe that the closure of the art shop will affect the quality of my education and my work; which goes against giving students the best possible experience. The art shop is convenient, I don't want to wait for items to arrive in the post or pay the prices in Hanley!

Do not close the uni art shop. I may not be a student at Staffs Uni but I do use it often and so do others. How about closing the canteen instead because they serve gross food.

How can you even think about completely closing the art shop!?!? It was a totally disater when it even shut for a day due to illness or something. How will students get the basic tools they need for their course? It is a fantastic resource and such a selling point for the art courses at Staffs too. This will cost the art faculty students time, energy, money and will influence their final degree grades. Hope you change your minds and don't make such a huge mistake. Funding!? Ha, tution fees just tripled didn't they?.

this furiatetes me, what the hell am I paying £9000.00 a year for, this will jeperdize everyones attendance and grades as we will have to travel on bus/car to other places hoping they have what we specifically need to produce our work. not only that, 2 people will loose their jobs, they are so helpful, today there were 5 people running the shop and it was a joke, fair enough they don't know what they are doing, just proves how important it is to the university community. I would rather pay more for the convenience of the shop being there, if you need money close the squeeze box, they are awful in there!
