This proposal has been managed badly, and has only served to alienate the users of service, which in turn will not help the decision-makers to get us to easily accept the closure. It is such a valuable service as the staff are incredibly knowledgable and great for advice for projects. The discounted stock is a boon for students and other customers and I don't know anywhere else that could provide such a comprehensive service.

It would be a terrible decision to close the art shop and would be unfair to the art students at Staffs Uni. The shop was an important source of materials for me during my Photography degree over three years ago. It's not just the easy access to materials that would be missed but also helpful advice that I came to rely on from the staff.

The art shop has quite often been a saviour for me. I travel from afar to come to the university and on many occasions the shop has provided me with top quality equipment and a great customer service to match. would be an absolute shame for it to go.
