Please! Leave Payne Park alone! This is a sanctuary close to the heart of downtown and doesn't need to be disrupted with a ridiculous concert hall. We already have one! It's on the bay where it should remain! Leave the ponds and natural wildlife that congregates in Payne Park, ALONE! So many different species of wildlife gathers along the ponds and it is truly a treasure to have that here. We need pockets of nature for our children, for ourselves and for all of our souls! How much concrete and "growth" does Sarasota really need? It's getting out of hand...really. Let us retain and protect areas that have been originally instituted as such. We don't need another bigger and better concert hall. If so, then take it out to Fakewood Ranch!!!! Leave our parks and natural wildlife alone so that future generations may enjoy, as we do. Ok?!!!! Is that really too much to ask....?

Should renovate Van Wezel and continue to use that, and renovate Holley Hall for larger chamber music audiences. Instead of sitting on their hands for another 20 years.

Please let everyone come together with open minds and hearts to come up with the best solution for everyone, including me, who uses the park almost every day! Thank You!

We have enough concrete and asphalt in Sarasota we need to preserve this park and all the parks.

I support the orchestra’s intent to build a new concert hall BUT NOT on public park land.

Can the Orchestra relocate to N Beneva Rd near Fire Station 5? I think that is City property. Bring the Arts out of downtown.

Amazing to me when when know that climate change is the number one issue concerning our state that they would even consider giving up green space in our great city. Shame on everyone involved in trying to take this land from the public!

I'm all for symphony orchestras but this is a bad idea and can only lead to lawsuits and time wasted.

Ludicrous idea. Blaspheme. This is not even Civic minded in the least. Local elected officials and staff you negate your very existence , oh and clean the bathrooms at Lido beach for once in your life.

They should be looking at the land north of 10th St. between Orange and Central. Industrial area and empty land. 2 blocks from The Bay. Huge footprint. Fought against the baseball stadium in the park in 06'.

No Sarasota Orchestra at public park. Orchestra benefits privileged few, not all.
