No building in Payne Park. Aren't those three story buildings across the street ugly enough against the green of our beautiful park?

This was deeded as a park and the Commisoiners do not have the right to change that. The park belongs to the people!!!! not the Commisoiners or the Government!

I go to Sarasota every couple months and I always bring my bike because it is a great park great location and my baby cousins go to the playground.

I love going to payne park with my kids. To be honest, this is our favorite park in sarasota. We love playing on the playground, walking around on the trail, playing frisbee or playing catch on the grass, looking at the pond with fish, and more. Payne park is just a beautiful amazing place. I'm a local, and my family and I would be heart broken if this place is destroyed. We love music as well, but you can find another location to build a theatre for the Sarasota Orchestra. Please stop killing beautiful parts of nature for buildings!! We have so many empty buildings or plazas that can be turned into a theatre. Please keep looking for another location! Save payne park!!!

Sarasota has destroyed enough habitat for the almighty dollar. As a resident who grew up here, I have watched the destruction, which has really picked up pace in the last 10 years. Those birds/waterfowl need their habitat, please do not take it away!! And we need our green space to be healthy and happy!! Pamela

keep the park finally got a nice park with kids skating and not robbing people and u all wanna take it away NO REASON TO build on other land other than putting up condos that we do not need
