We the few that follow the rules in order to have weapons should not be penalized by the government! The criminals are the ones robbing, hijacking and murdering. They do not follow the rules! WE DO!

Please take control of illegal, stolen and illegally sold firearrms. We are legal owners for the sake of hunting and sport shooting.

Before you try making it harder for legal firearm owners to own a firearm, Government must show that they are stopping the illegal firearms and murder crimes in South-Africa. Need more strict punishment for criminals and murderers(death sentence). I have the right to defend myself and will do so, for government Aint doing anything about the criminals.

The expense of such changes would massively detract from the public safety role of the SAPS. There are vastly more efficient and effective uses of the taxpayers' money.

The present Laws and the implimentation, enacting and following through on the possession of an illegal or prohibited firearm needs to be pursued and enforced. This will sort a vast majority of the problems with regard to firearms in this country out. Present laws for possession of an illegal or prohibited firearm attract a maximum sentence of 15 and 25 years respectively. Name one case where this proper sentence has been passed on any crimal that has been charged?

I can not agree with new amendments. You are not removing illegal weapons with the amendments all you are doing targeting law abiding citizens.
