Powell's infrastructure can't handle another 400+ homes without huge improvements in the roads. It already takes 20 minutes to go less than a mile from Tennova North Knoxville Medical Center to the interstate at peak times. It's ridiculous to keep adding more and more traffic to an area that is clogged by entrances to business. It needs to be completely restructured with access roads.

The houses that will be built will not be taken care of. They will have no yards and will go straight up just like the majority of subdivisions in powell. Lots of rental properties and transferring in and out. This will not help the value of homes already established on Copeland

This will directly affect where I live and the road is already small as it is. If you think about it, that’s a lot of traffic coming in and out on such narrow roads. East Copeland is a pretty private area and the beauty of it is, is getting to look outside to see the wildlife and land surrounding us. Because of this, I now get to look outside at a bunch of traffic and a clustered neighborhood.

Our roads and schools are already overcrowded, please don't add to the problem! Do not rezone!

Greenwell Dr, Greenwell Rd, Bishop Rd,Copeland Rd, Tate Trotter and Conner cannot handle the volume of traffic this will create. School systems will suffer. MPC sign is posted on Pedigo side of property only. Get the word out to your neighbors.

Pedigo rd cannot handle this traffic. Emory Rd through Powell is already congested enough. This would hurt the community.

I grew up in the area my whole life. This would cause so much traffic and run this beautiful area that needs to stay like it is. Where will the animals go that you see roaming?

Please don’t rezone this land. We want our neighborhood preserved. We also can’t handle any more congestion on the back roads, schools, or EMORY Rd!
MPC, listen...the community is talking.

Turning off of and onto Bishop and Pedigo Roads already feels like taking your life into your own hands. Both intersections need stoplights. I can't imagine what this new subdivision would do to that traffic.

Please do not build this in our community. There is not enough road space for much traffic on those tiny back roads!
