Schools are already over crowded and roads are congested. It is not worth the inconvenience of the entire community for a developer and a contractor to make a fortune.

I Live within very close proximity to the proposed building site and have already had to deal with issues from the other recent housing development, Childress place. The increased traffic has made the roads more dangerous as many of its residents tend to speed. More litter and less wildlife can be seen leading up to and the area surrounding the subdivision. I have always enjoyed the serenity this little corner of Powell has to offer. Serenity that's become more elusive with each and every house these construction giants slap together.

Do not need this many new homes in this area. Schools here are already overcrowded. Roads not able to handle more traffic

This will generate more traffic than Emory can handle. They will need a light at Pedigo and Emory. This would stop the flow of traffic and allow severe back log. Emory rd is almost maxed out now and in the afternoon and mornings it takes me 15 min to go 3 miles on some days. Adding 400 houses with an average of two cars per family is insane. Also there is the type of housing which is to be constructed. This is also a concern.

Our infrastructure cannot handle this influx of 420 homes. Pedigo and Emory is already a death trap and adding a light will just make the flow awful. The last thing we need is another development of cheap cookie cutter houses crammed 5 to an acre. Approve 1 acre lots. That still allows for progress and investment and is more in keeping with the flow of this area. I vehemently oppose this petition!

The local roads will be clogged. Widen and improve the roads and interstate access first.

Strongly oppose this re-zoning. Traffic congestion is already a serious problem in Powell.

I agree that public safety is of the highest regard and if it is approved it should be should be low density with high quality drainage and traffic control devices in place.

Pedigo at Emory is already a death trap. I am aware of two deaths and multiple accidents. Please check police reports on this intersection. Emory Rd moving west from Pedigo is already a nightmare. Really need to plan and prepare before building and I also strongly support low density housing. I will be interesting how this plays out will the citizens of Powell have a influence over dollars.

Way to much traffic as it is in Powell and way to many homes going up everywhere, not enough room for more!

Please reconsider this to even lesser than 3 homes per acre. There is also is a planned development off of Pelleaux that will also drastically increase the number of homes in the area greatly impacting schools and the area road infrastructure.

All this development in and around Powell is pricing out the people who live here
