For the Physcial, mental, social health of our children and their current and future education, I believe school should be held in person. With prudence in person school is happening throughout the country.

We need in person instruction. The online learning platform was a joke and my children learned nothing!

Parents are not teachers, and do not have the time nor skills to teach the important building blocks of education that are learned in kindergarten. Education is the most valuable thing a person can have, and that is being taken away from these impressionable children.

I feel I have some helpful ideas. I put my email on the first survey but I was never contacted. I even have ideas for bussing issues. Maybe if the surveys stated "these are our hurdles, any ideas?" the community members could have helped trouble shoot. So many opportunities lost at the cost of our kids.

Our families preference is for some form of in person learning. It is the best option for our children’s mental and emotional health.
If this cannot be achieved (even though the majority of parents are asking for in person learning) we need some serious changes for virtual learning. Teachers need to be available On their computers for screen time interaction during the entire school day If kids have questions. Lessons need to be taught live with a recorded option and there needs to be better accountability. I understand spring was unplanned, but we’re expecting big things in September if we must go virtual or we will be going to an online charter school for their education.

We are in favor of the option of in person or hybrid and for those who aren't comfortable attending in person, an option for online. If online is the only option, then I firmly believe that the kids would greatly benefit from having to "show up" on time to class via Zoom with their cameras on and sit and listen to their teacher teach. In Zoom, there is an option to mute participants for less distraction and have them "raise their hand" if they have a question. (many working parents have been doing their work/business meetings via Zoom and it hasn't been a big deal.). Kids thrive on routine and need to hear and see their teachers and classmates instead of struggling online trying to find out where assignments are and such.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

We should be going to school. We don’t have the numbers of cases in our community not to. We need the interaction to better learn. We can do it safely where we limit infections schools are doing it across the country.

kids needs interaction and structure. Not locked at home. Parents need to work and provide for their families.
Let them go back to school.
