Please don’t allow Vapor Store across from Reedy High School

This smoke & vape shop being in close proximity to schools is in poor judgment and poor taste. Not the look and influence we want for our neighborhood.

It is not appropriate for a vape store to be in such close proximity to a middle and high school. Many teens hang out in that shopping center before and after school. Frisco should do the right thing for our kids and not have this consistently marketed to them.

I oppose opening vaping store near schools or kids playing area

This is absolutely ridiculous, vape shops should be nowhere near educational facilities. Being near two is even crazier!

Too close to multiple school.

In addition to vaping, this location is marketing Delta8, a cannabis product, within 1000 feet of a school. I believe they are in violation of federal law.

Kids and teens are becoming addicted to the harmful elements in vapes, and it's irresponsible to open in an area that is an intersection of so many schools filled with thousands of impressionable youth. Our residents don't want this store in walking distance to our homes and schools. Nor do we want such a large advertisement (the balloon) for something so detrimental to human health.

Inappropriate to open near schools.

I do not want a Vap store near Reedy High school as a matter of fact we should have a zoning ordinance that no Vap shop can be within a mile of the schools in Frisco.

No reason a retail shop selling an addictive substance should be zoned this close to secondary and high schools.

We have been told for years about the vaping concerns at Reedy, along with it getting the nickname “Weedy Reedy”. Why do we want to have a store that would only encourage this behavior? There are plenty of other locations across the city. It seems this was an intentional placement…

Bad influence. Schools now have the responsibility to educate students on the negatives of smoking and vaping. Vape store out of sight, out of mind.

We live right near this intersection and my kids school is down the street (LCA). Way too close for comfort and completely inappropriate of the landlords to not consider the young, curious and impressionable minds, to make a dollar. It's heartbreaking and tacky.

I am a parent of former high school students. Vaping is on the rise among teen agers and it is absolutely not acceptable to have one near the schools.
