Petition - To not allow vaping store right across the Reedy's High School

Any smoking and drinking shops should not be near schools.

I’m shocked that there is no ordinance about the sale of tobacco products this close to a school. (I’m very surprised that big balloon on the corner is too, to be honest) While sale is prohibited by age, kids are still getting them and to put a shop ina plaza where kids come for cookies, donuts and coffee is just irresponsible. (We don’t even allow hard alcohol sales in city limits, but it’s ok to plop this in near a school?)

It’s extremely dangerous to health & safety of kids and a particularly very bad location. Worst! Shall be against county zoning & planning regulations!!

Please don’t do this to our coming generation. What kind of future can we expect if this is the kind of youngsters we produce and if this is the kind of culture we promote… how in our right conscience can we normalize something so blatantly damaging…..

I am flabbergasted as to why a vaping store needs to be near a school.

The more the support the better. I’m planning to go to the city this week. I’m hoping the city will update the zoning ordinance so that a vaping or alcohol or cigarette stores doesn’t come close to a school. Not just Reedy’s but any other school in Frisco.
