I have known Johanna Woodard my entire life and have been most fortunate to meet one of the most genuine and caring people I've ever met. Her passion for her career and helping people grow is amazing. Don't miss out on such a rare (and needed) person.

Because she is a wonderful administrator, and has greatly improved the program she is currently working with, there is no reason that she should be bullied into taking a different position for the district. She is dedicated and has a vested interest in the success of the program she is leading. It is hard enough to find compassionate teachers and administrators, why would the district administration want to force a successful leader to move? Please leave her in her school.

If she has a passion about her job, they should let her keep it. End of the story.

This is from a posting I saw on Facebook..copy and pasted: For those Owasso former, current, and future students that are just now getting the information about the changes coming to the school system then here are the facts. Amy Fitchner has put in a request to transfer the current principals and have Mr. Clark run the high school, mid-high, and ram academy. Currently, Owasso is spinning the budget angle and proposing that this change will help cut 2.5 million dollars while cutting the fewest jobs as possible (those numbers don't add up). The meeting for this will be at the administrative building on Monday night at 6:30 and it is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! The Owasso Ram Academy is also having their yearly fundraising auction this Saturday and a lot of the board and the superintendent, Dr. Clark Olgilvie, will be in attendance. If you want to share your thoughts about this then please contact the Owasso Administrative building by calling 918-272-5367 and press 1. I don't usually post about this sort of thing but I'm absolutely outraged that such a large impacting decision is being hushed from the public. UPDATE: Gann and Roberts are taking over roles as principals for the mid high and high school. Please share this news!

I have known Johanna Woodard since she was a young girl, & I have watched her progress from entry level teaching to become a top Administrator today. She is a true professional & has excelled everywhere she has been. Her skills in Education combine with her integrity & passion, to place her well above the average professional. She is beloved & respected by those around her at every level, & has the rare ability to discern what is necessary to see her school, children, & faculty, achieve success, then follow through with the steps necessary to accomplish. To remove Johanna from her present position at Ram Academy, would leave the local Education system with a huge black eye. Her numerous awards & accolades speak for themselves. Please do the right thing & honor Ms. Woodard with the privilege of continuing the high level of leadership she has consistently displayed.

Dr. Woodward is such a valuable asset to Owasso Public Schools System and the students at the Ram Academy! With her direction and dedication she has brought both the Ram Academy and Owasso National recognition in academia!! It would be a real travesty to misuse her passion for these students and the Academy in another manner for any other reason. I am certain that Dr. O. Realizes that no one else in the district comes close to her abilities for this assignment at the Ram Academy. I am confident that both the Owasso Board of Education and Dr. O can rectify this action. Dr. Woodard is held in highest esteem by all that know her!!!

Dr.Woodard has made this school what it is today. She loves ram kids like family and wants to see us succeed. I've never had a princible that has cared so much about the students. Ram just wouldn't be the same without her.

I have heard many things from my friends about how their principal helped medicate them to stay in high school and without her they would have given up and I feel that teens like us need a roll model like that.

Dr. Woodard saved my life. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't be on my way to graduating with straight A's. Dr. Woodard is the mom to our big ram family. She saves the kids that the highschool swept under the rug because they thought they were useless.
