I am completely shocked that OPS would even consider removing Ms. Woodard from RAM Academy. The mid-high taught my son that no one cares, there are no consequences to anyone who does anything to you, and the only way to survive is to physically fight your way through the day. RAM has restored his faith in adults that lead our youth. I've never seen a 15 year old boy so excited about a principle that holds kids 100% accountable to the rules. She is present every single day in their lives and they know that. Ms. Woodard is not only helping kids graduate, she and the rest of the staff are saving the lives of many kids in this district. OPS should be ashamed for even considering this.

Dr. Woodard was one of the first people I met at ram (seeing as how she conducts the interviews) and she always listened to me. When my cat was sick she brought me to her office and spoke with me not just as a principle but as a friend. She is a very smart woman there's no doubt about that but if she left ram things wouldn't be the same. She gave the teachers room to be creative and that's why ram is what it is today. Rams a family & she's the momma she just can't leave! We aren't ready to let her go.

She is the best principle for Ram academy! She truly cares for each student. My daughter graduated in 2013. My daughter Kara Armstrong felt like she got more help, teaching, and understanding from all of the staff there than she did in the previous 10 years of her education at Owasso....... Especially from principle Woodard. Removing her from Ram academy would be a huge mistake!

Miss woodard needs to be at Ram. She was the only reason i was about to graduate. If my situation was different i would definitely have graduated because of her.

This school wouldnt be the same without Dr. Woodard. She is the more qualified then whoever would be replacing her because of her years of experience with at risk teens.

In a society where it's so easy for our youth to lose direction, it is so important to keep a tight hold on administration that strives to keep them on track.

This coming from a qualified teacher from South Africa, who has met Mrs Woodard in person, thinks that taking someone from such an important position is just not fair. Think about the hard work and sweat she has put in to make a difference in so many students' lives!

Who made the decision to remove the principal who created the program at Ram Academy that landed them the only Crystal Star Award of Excellence in Dropout Prevention, Recovery and Intervention -- the only school in the U.S. to receive the award last year? The National Dropout Prevention Center has placed Ram Academy on its list of model programs in the US, yet they decide to pull the best resources out of the school. This is a poor decision and it demonstrates a clear lack of leadership and vision for the district.

If it was not for what this woman does many students would have never graduated high school. We know times are stuff right now with all the budget cuts but please don't cut her.

Ms. Woodard showed such incredible belief in my daughter and such compassion when she switched from the mid-high to Ram Academy. That compassion, belief in her and treating her as a person and not as a number was all it took to help my daughter blossom. It will be such a tragedy to Ram Academy 's success if you move Ms. Woodard. She is what makes Ram Academy.
