Please keep the board or at least present a viable alternative, other than a random Facebook change. There is not way to target specific films and shows and have a cohesive discussion using Facebook and twitter

Shut down the most important part of IMDb, the place where you can find clues and interesting discussions about movies or series, the place where people can share, this is so stupid. This goes with the actual behaviour of these times, isolate people, prevent them from sharing, build a cold inhumane society... Soooo sad.

Whenever I see a film, I go to the message boards to find out what others think of the movie and to share my opinions. It's the main reason I continue visiting the site. Keep the message boards! Please.

I find the comments section much more useful than not. I am easily able to filter though them without becomming offended by anything I read.

Imdb message boards are amazing! I check it after every single movie I watch to read what people have to say. Sure there's lots of negative stuff sometimes posted but that's to be expected from a public forum. Embedded withing those non useful messages are lots of great opinions, insights and commentary. Please keep the boards open as this is one of my favorite things about imdb

The Boards keep the venues alive, and the programs going between seasons, and actor breaks. The added info on behind production info is important.

IMDb is the only neutral discussion board for movies. Everything else caters towards fandoms and not everyone wants to be involved in that world. I always go straight to the message boards once I watch a movie. It's a shame to delete the boards.

Please find a way to keep the boards open. It is a fabulous recourse for those tidbits of information that film buffs have no other outlet to share with others! I always go straight to the boards on any film I watch. Thank you for giving us all this service.

Been using the boards since 1999, can;t see the point of the IMDB if they go as Wikipedia has all the same info and things like synopsis of plot etcf. The message boards are a great place for theories, possible spoilers and discussion of similar films.
