The IMDB forums are the best English-language forum for discussion of movies, and even more so, TV Shows. Please reconsider your decision to shutter them.

IMDB WHY YOU DO DIS? I've been reading the forums for about 15 years. It's very sad to hear that IMDB wants to get rid of the message boards. It's the only thing I ever DO on IMDB!

I always go to the imdb message board after seeing a movie to see what every else had to say about it. Very dumb and lame on your guys part to be getting rid of them.

IMDB message boards are useful, interesting and important to the website. i always look at the message board for films that have had an effect on me and to see how other people feel about topics raised. The trolls are in the minority.

The only reason I came to IMDB is because of the discussion boards for movies and even the actors. I can get stats/biography/summary/trivia elsewhere.

I find the message board very useful for gaining info on the movies I watch. There are so many messages that a wealth of information and opinion is available.

IMDB means only few things to me, the ratings, the cast and the boards. The boards are the only thing that are just not the same on other sites. Dont ruin this... it is comparable mistake as Youtube making their website worse with every update.
