I have never posted on the boards but have frequented them for more than a decade, to read people's points of view, and to get some interesting perspective on the films and series i watch, without the boards I will have little to no reason to visit IMDB. Finding out what actor is in what i can do on google from a dozen other outlets. Reading discussions on plot points for multiple movies and series, I cannot

I learnt from messageboards than movie page or watching the movies. I might lose interest in IMDb after withdraw of messageboards.

I think the IMDB message boards are a great way to gather insight on any and every single movie. It would be many people sadness if the site removed it. I would not want this to be an end of an era for IMDB, because I do believe there can be great conversations because of these message boards.

I am a long-time user of the IMDB message boards. They are invaluable for discussing movies and sharing views. I will be very disappointed if they are discontinued.

Please don't get rid of the message boards. It's a great way to get insight, views and answers to questions from other users and to share stories about the shows or films we love. How much of a hardship could it possibly be to leave them intact for us to use? I've been a signed up user for 8 years and was a browser for years before that. It would be like losing a family member. DON'T DO IT !!
