Keep the message boards! I go on them daily to connect with others and discuss shows and movies! Would be disappointed to see it go..

Without the message boards, I'll barely use IMDb. I don't post much but I find out a lot of interesting info on the boards. It would be a shame to lose them.

I don't write in the forums much, but the whole reason I prefer IMDb over RT and similar sites is because of the discussions I can find on the forums.

I've had an IMDB account for years and when I look up a movie, no matter how old it might be, I'll always check out the message boards as well. They help me decide whether to seek out the movie to buy or watch. They show me what others thought and what questions they had about the movie. I have learned so much from this feature and I don't want to lose it. Please keep the message boards alive.

Yes there is some negativity on the boards, but they are also a great place to talk about shows. I love that other people catch things I didn't or have different theories. Not sure I'll be back to IMDB without the boards.

These boards are SUPER important to me. They are one of the main reasons i even have an imdb account and I think its unfair this is being decided without a group vote. We are the public that benefits the most from your sites boards. If you are tired of censoring posts and moderating discussions I am 100% sure you can appoint moderators who will gladly do these things for you for free. PLEASE keep the boards up.

I have been using imdb for 18 years and the message boards have been a cornerstone of why people use imdb. Getting rid of the message will make me use imdb much, much less.
