Without message boards I'm officially moving to Rotten Tomatoes for movie stuff and changing my start page to it as well. Their rating system is better anyway, but it was the message boards that kept me engaged and hooked on IMDB, despite rarely posting but always reading, sometimes endlessly. Bye bye. With no message boards you won't be missed by me. Political correctness will be the death of you in the long run. People can ignore trolls, not visit message boards and generally grow up - like the rest of us. Muh safe space. Smh.

Perfect for the discussion of smaller or older pictures. Always go there after watching a movie to see what others think of it. Or Internet it. There really is no other place like it. Keep it up

The IMDB message board is the life of IMDB, it gives film fans the chance to discuss with each other about there most beloved films. After watching a film, I visit the IMDB message boards to see what other think about the same film and I can also make sense of things that I don't understand in a film.

It's become a habit; after I see a movie I really like or don't fully understand I always head to the IMDb message boards to see what others have to say. Please don't take them away.

The IMDb message boards has been a great place for me personally to check other peoples opinion, analysis, find similar movies and to get in contact with the creators. I found some of my favorite movies on it. I'm aware of the fact that there are trolls but they will always remain on other parts of the site such as there always will be a "Ignore User" feature, hopefully.

Taking away the message boards from IMDb is a serious mistake and will also cause the company to lose major popularity from their fans.

Although I haven't posted to the message boards in years, I still enjoy reading what others have to say about the movies. It often adds dimensions, understandings and meanings I hadn't realized before.

Yes I agree, we need you to keep these boards going, its what makes IMDB great, if theres something i dont quite get in a film, then iv only to come to these boards, also i have given help to others, please please do not disable the message boards. Thx, Brian

Please keep the boards open. It's my go-to place for movie discussion. I'm not sure I'll visit the website much if they close. Just think, if you decide to keep them open then people will have a newfound appreciation for them because they almost lost them.
