I'm a movie lover and I like to see what other people think or interpret in films. I don't like trolls or hateful comments toward actors but I skim over those. Deleting this feature will be a loss.

Loved these boards, abused after The Dark Knight in the best way possible. was a treat to return to them every now and then as time progressed. Shame that people who abuse free speech cause others to abandon the dialogue. Some people just want to watch the world burn. One message board at a time.

I've been coming to this site since leaving high school for college and now I'm 32. These message boards are a rare but great forum for me to escape as silly as that sounds. Regulate it better if need be. Thanks

I have enjoyed the IMDb boards for 10 years. Movies and communication go hand in hand. I will likely never go on IMDb without it's message boards. It's like pulling the plug/ lights out, and I really don't see any advantage to that.

WORST IDEA EVER!
I have enjoyed the message boards at IMDB for many years, and regard them as the most important part of the site. Although i have never became a membed, I return to this site several times every month to access these boards. I am certain that i am not alone in this; and in fact that your number of unregistered users exceeds that of registered members. That is to say that you are going to eliminate an important service to the majority of your audience. To suggest that a Facebook page can in any way replace these message boards is willfully shortsighted on your part. You certainly must be more informed than I am on anything pertaining to the internet, website design, and how we as consumers interact and benefit from such services. Therefore, I am also certain that you know that you will be depriving your users of a much welcomed service.

The message boards are pretty much the only reason I visit IMDB. The site would be pointless to me without the boards.
