Not a tweeter or social media junkie so I the Message Board goes away I will truly miss the feature, enjoy having an easy source to ask a question or see if someone else knows the part of movie I missed or did not understand.

I've been visiting the IMDB since 1996 and have participated in several discussions in the forums since the beginning. Its mostly been a positive experience. At least make the forums read only. Since archive.org doesn't have the data, they really shouldn't just outright delete the data. Preserve it at least.

These boards make the site unique and brings members back all the time, it would be stupid to close them now, especially after more than 10 years of having them opened.

I love IMDB message boards, and see no reason why they should be shut down. They are a place where films lovers can discuss movies in a positive enviornemnt.

I often love looking at the IMDb message boards for extra information about movies that aren't posted on the rest of the site. Please keep the message boards! I feel like a wealth of information will be lost and the IMDb website won't be the same without them.
