I always use the message boards for movie suggestions and help finding movies I can't remember titles for. This will kill me losing the boards.
I also like many others made really good friends through the boards.

If I can't go to the boards to see what other people thought about aspects of a film I just watched, I'll have no reason to use the site at all...

I check the boards to hear what real people think about movies. It's what makes IMDB. Ending it would cause me to go elsewhere.

The best part of IMDB are the message boards, a place to share insights. cheers and jeers about the film we see. Please keep them. I don't know what the complaints are. Immature comments appear from time to time but I think most of us are mature enough to overcome their minor irritation.

This board is a great resource for obscure info and a great way for people to talk about movies and TV. There is no good reason to remove it!

Agree trolls can be abusive - they can also be ignored. I've managed to ignore them for the entire 21st centuty while enjoying everything else the boards offer. KEEP THE BOARDS!

I always liked this site. It's full of information on movies and tv shows and the message boards here are where you can get even more information and keep in touch with people that like the same things you do. I'd hate to see them go away! Please don't do it.
