What an absolutely dumb decision. I always go to the message boards after I see a film. I don't use imdb for anything else.

Please reconsider your decision to close the IMDB message boards. This is the only reason why I usually go to IMDB. I will no longer have a need to visit IMDB once the message boards are gone.

The IMDb message boards are a useful place to discuss films informally with other enthusiasts. I often find out things I didn't know and other recommendations. Scrapping message boards just because of a few trolls is unfair on legitimate and polite users such as myself.
