Don't let the minority ruin what the masses use as a valuable source. These type of people and "problems" exist everywhere on the internet and are mostly ignored. The good far outweighs the negative.

I think getting rid of the message boards is a form of censorship. a lot can be learned from discussions or getting answers to questions. i don't use social media which have different unclear structure. hope imdb/amazon reverse their decision

Please don't get rid of the message boards. They are sooo much easier to navigate than a Facebook page. If you don't look at a Facebook page every 15 minutes you miss a lot of things. New things get posted and everything gets pushed down the page, then you have to search. Too much trouble. At least on message boards everything pertains to each certain show,movie, etc. My only complaint about the message board is you can go down 3 pages read a comment, then return back to comments and your back on page one of comments instead of being back to the 3rd page of comments you started at. Probably not making much sense, but navigation of comments on IMDb is irritating.

It really is a mistake to stop having these boards. I use this site often to decide what movie or TV show to watch. I have been active on the boards for a decade. Very upset about this STUPID decision.

Without the boards, I no longer have a reason to go to IMDB at all. Including FB.

A great resource made by the people that posted there over the years being taken away by the very people that hosted said server,literally biting the hand that feeds you.
Thanks to many of the posters there over the years that provided uncontrollable fits of laughter as well as recommending great films and television programs from all corners of the world that I may never have seen and come to love otherwise.
