Anyone know if this petition is going to help save the IMDB messageboards? I hope they reverse this horrible decision!

We use your boards several times a week so really hate to see it go. After 15 years it has become a part of our lives. We sincerely hope you'll give this just one more meeting - that new site is crap!

Without the boards which have the opinions of those who have watched a movie or TV show then there is little that IMDB can offer which Wikipedia cannot.

The ONLY place you can go for a specific film and see your questions asked and answered, theories and explanations for baffling things in films.
Who cares about trolls?
It's a necessary source of information.
Can't get that on their worthless Facebook page.
With no message boards I have ZERO use for IMDB.

Boards are the main reason I joined, I want to know what real people think and have to say about movies, not what critics think. Trolls are easy to ignore. Keep the boards, please!!

There is nothing else like these boards online. I have looked and no other site allows me to go to any movie or TV show, and read/post about it. It is a travesty to close them, not to mention the loss of all that information...why are there no intelligent people at IMDb?

Please reconsider not closing the message boards.
It is has always been my go to place to discuss movies. And most of the time the comments and posts are intelligent and informative.
There are only the odd ones that are idiotic and trolling.

I don't post but enjoy reading them. I like to see interpretations on confusing movie endings and conjectures on how plot lines will resolve on TV series.
