I go to IMDb every single day .. many times a day .. Now I don't .. thanks a lot IMDb .. and it's all about MONEY .. don't you make enough money with the rest of Amazon .

Please return the message boards. I always enjoyed reading other people's assessment of movies. Other's comments often gave a perspective that hadn't occurred to me. Please don't let the troll-ish antics of a few ruin it for us regular folks.

What a disappointment. The discussion boards where the best part about the website. I hope IMDB/Amazon changes their decision. If not hopefully someone else will create a better version of it where users are allowed to interact with the free exchange of thought & ideas.

The message boards contained tons of informations added by users and it's a shame you threw all this information in the trash. What a stupid and irresponsable decision!

I am so sad about this, just found out now. IMDb is one of my favorite sites and I was about to check a board tonight, as I often do after watching a movie. I rarely have seen trolls on there so I don't know why these were shut down. Please bring them back up! I like having a forum for every title on the site. :( I don't know where to go now for discussion on a movie. I am genuinely sad after hearing this.

Please keep the boards! I've been on the boards for over 12 years, watching them grow and work well. It is great to have a site to not only find out info about the show/movie/person, but to converse about it. Getting rid of the boards diminishes IMDB's value to me immensely. Please keep the boards.

I agree the boards need to come back. So much fun to watch a great movie on TCM and then dash off to IMDB to see what people are saying and, even more fun, to see threads that are years old being resurrected to discuss movie trivia, arcane plot points, where-are-they-now actor information, etc.

I can't believe the boards are gone ! There is nowhere else you can discuss very specific details about films, whether about plot, acting, cinematography, costumes, historical accuracy, etc or interpretation and similar movies recommandations with people from all around the world. It is a great loss for movie lovers worldwide and for the internet as a whole !

I haven't signed any type of petition in over thirty years but I'm signing this one. Messageboards was the best thing about IMDB.
