I have been on these message boards since 2002ish... so sad to see it go. It had it's issues, but I enjoyed reading other people's ideas and theories on movies... or to look for answers if I didn't understand something...I loved the message boards!

Once again, the few rotten ones spoil it for everyone else. Is IMdb going to cower and bow to the minority, or listen to those that made these boards fun and relevant? Bring back message boards please!

Please reconsider this decision. I often use this site to answer movie questions (what was the song...what did that comment mean...) Hard to find any other site that deals with so many films/tv shows.

The opinions on IMDB comments are the main reason I went on there. They did tell me, much better than the official reviews did, whether the films were any good for me or not. Now, there is nothing there for me to look at. Especially, as pointed out, for recommending obscure independent films which would be impossible to get an opinion I value any other way. Please, bring them back, there's nothing like it!

PLEASE reinstate the message boards. This feature is IMDB's best - very unique forum. If you do not, someone else will, and you will lose me and so many others. I've been a faithful follower for many years.

This is horrible. I used to visit IMDB message boards several times a week to read discussions on movies. Please bring back the message boards. Your site is useless without it! what a horrible decision!

Despite the trolling and negative energy the boards were also a place to share positive experiences of film. It was nice to able to talk about trailers, film theories or read from people involved with the production. Please change your mind IMDB.

The only purpose imdb served was the message board section. I learned so much about movies from very informed viewers. It is stupid that you got rid of it because of the "trolls". Grow up real life is full of trolls and we don't stop living. Please BRING BACK the message boards. Otherwise you might as well shut down your site. Without the message board it is useless.

IMDB...your decision to drop the forums is a MAJOR MISTAKE! I was heartbroken and disgusted to read you dropped them. I will no longer visit IMDB until I see them return. I'm not alone in my feeling. Very disappointed!

I have been a IMDB member for 15 years. Bring back the message boards.
They were the only feature you had which differentiated you from other movie sites. It enabled movie lovers to have informative discussions on older classic and obscure films. Please reconsider and restore what was one of your best features!
