Only reason I have been visiting IMDB for at least 10 years! For everything else I go to Rottentomatoes. Without the boards, I will not be returning to IMDB. Not sure how the value of these boards to IMDB could be so grossly overlooked.

Please bring the boards back. Unfortunately, the internet can be a nasty place, but shutting down your boards is not the solution to stoping it. There are so many film fans who thrive on these message boards and I find my reasons to come back to imdb are dwindling.

IMDB Message Boards were always one of my favorite elements of the IMDB website. I discovered theories, historical references, insights, behind the scenes goings on and more that weren't readily available on other sites. I only found out about their removal today while trying to find an explanation for the sudden death of a character on an older TV series. Please reinstate the boards as soon as possible, I'm clearly not the only IMDB user deeply disappointed by this decision.

Please bring back the message boards, it was a great communication tool for us users who like to comment about our favorite films and listen to others' insights. Trolls, unfortunately there's no shortage of them and there will always be one or two trolls but roaming the boards but it's how we deal with them that matters for example we don't have to respond to them and we can report them like people have been doing for years. Not to sound mean, but a lot of us only visited IMDB to talk with people on the message boards so disabling them wasn't the smartest move, just saying.

Please reconsider and bring back the message boards. I miss reading comments on talent and films. IMDd is just a dry impersonal site now.
