Please keep the message boards going. Maybe there should be more guidelines to keep them from falling into utter chaos as some have, but killing them totally is a bad move.

Without the message boards, IMDb is a site with mere facts about movies. I can use Wikipedia for that. As an avid user of ten years I see no reason to keep using the site as frequently or even at all. You could at least find some mod solution or erase the unrelated boards. Censoring all discussion about movies is insane. Bad move, IMDb. Bad move.

Please don't get rid of the message boards. They're like the only reason I go on imdb and I'm sure it's the same for a lot of other people. The message boards are the best thing about imdb.

The movie/show boards are the sole reason I visit imdb to discuss plots, characters, endings, confusions etc since no other sites have that function. I see no reason to ever visit imdb again if you close down the boards.

Love the boards. The combination of intelligent, insightful discussion with trolling and utter insanity on some boards is an amazing combination. The best blend of entertainment and enlightenment.

This is the best movie site on the planet, which allows you to discuss or ask questions about any film that exists. Taking away the message boards and possibility of speaking with others about films and anything they want privately, is foolish. When you have something this perfect, you don't break it.
