I thought the whole purpose of IMDB was to learn about and discuss movies and TV. Do you really think you will keep getting the hits you are getting now without the message boards? What a stupid decision.

Please keep the IMDB message boards I use them frequently to look up information about old films or television shows. The comments that some people make are extremely valuable and worthwhile. The posts that I've seen go all the way back to 2007 and these should not be deleted. I read the message boards every day and also contribute every so often. There is no other place on the internet where we can discuss an old foreign film from the 60s. The IMDB message boards have a purpose and deleting them will force less traffic to the site and you wouldn't want that. Please please keep these message boards. Thank you.

The only reason that I and many others come to IMDb at all is BECAUSE of the message boards. If you remove them, you can expect your viewership to plummet to near zero.

Please don't close these game and message boards. I have been playing games on here for over 10 years. Many of use this game board to pass the time during slow weekends and work days. It is a wonderful feature and we do not want to lose it.

The message boards, in addition to being very informative, is also a place where we can share our thoughts about film and films of the future. No other place in the world has something as unique as this.

Please do not disable the boards. Yes, there can be a lot of deadspace with namecalling and off-topic politics, but allow the USERS to choose what they want to view; they (and we) are capable of self-monitoring. There are a lot of GOOD reviews and some good advice in some of them.

This place has been my cinematic home for over a decade and I've learned and grown so much through the experiences shared on the message boards. It would be a travesty to let the trolls win and ruin something that has long been a staple of daily life for me.
