I love the IMDB so much and have enjoyed 17 years of discussing movies, theories and music questions.
If this is taken away how will we discuss the really old movies?
Is just the money you'll make on social media or what?

Just make a mod team for the forums I will gladly sign up.please don't remove the message boards they are what sets your website apart from any other cinema website on the internet. your message boards are invaluable to the discussion and spread of ideas on any film in existence. imdb message boards are a critical forum to the world of cinema and I wouldn't know half of the things I do about countless films if these boards did not exist. ideas, theories, analysis, and critiques of films are just a few of the many academic discussions that take place on this board, not just negativity. I truly hope you reconsider because my life, and I'm sure many others, will not be the same without this fantastic ability to convey what we may think and feel about a film we just saw or a film we have seen many times.

I have used IMDB for years and the main and really only reason I visit is for the boards - it is a great way to discuss films and tv - from things you like, to theories and so on. I can imagine a lot of traffic will be lost when the boards close and can only hope they will consider.

These message boards are important part of people's days it's not just to discuss movies it's to find out if certain movies are worth watching etc please don't shut this down.trolls are everywhere all over Twitter and it's not shutting down

My main purpose for visiting IMDB.com is to read the message boards. I would not go to this site or phone app if the message boards are removed.
