I love imdb message boards, it's a way to get our opinions out.

Yes, there are obnoxious, rude people posting but the message board is an excellent way to ask questions about a TV program. Sometimes I'm confused while watching a show and someone always asks the question I have. I use this site to find out is a show is cancelled or renewed. I also love new perspectives on a show especially if the ending is ambiguous. So many people contribute to the message board in a positive way. Please bring back the message board!!

keep the boards alive. one of the best things about the site is that you can go to a specific movie, director, actor etc. and talk about it.

I believe its a mistake to take away the message boards and say that we should use facebook instead. To be honest I've never been to your social media page until now to complain!!! Thousands of people like myself use the website msg boards to voice their feedback & suggestions which I find very useful. If it's gone then there won't be any reason to choose imdb over 'other' social media film/TV FB pages!!

IMDb boards are where I find other interesting films and shows to watch and if I have a question, there are plenty helpful voices there!

The message boards are the perfect place to go after watching a movie to see what questions have been asked, what opinions people have, and things we've might have missed. I don't come here to read the trivia or see birthdays, if I can't come here to discuss a movie than there is no reason to come onto this site anymore and I've used this site since 2003!

PLEASE RECONSIDER. One has NO DESIRE whatsoever to join any other SOCIAL MEDIA site.
This site is definitely SUPERIOR and has much more to offer!!!

I enjoy the message boards please don't them shutdown it's not bad to anyone where is everyone going to discuss movies and actors this is a bad idea to disable something that is important to IMDb once this feature is disabled the whole IMDb might as well shutdown for good.

The message boards are an important resource, especially for those of us involved in the film industry. And film lovers as well can discuss movies in detail. The boards are a necessary function of the world's definitive film and entertainment site. I will visit IMDb far less often without them.
