Some people have been using it for a month, some for twenty years! Cleaning the boards is one thing, but to shut it down because of the few unfortunate bad apples? Not fair to the millions of users around the world!

I visit the message boards after every movie I've enjoyed. While I don't post I find the discussions enjoyable and besides looking up movie summaries they are the only reason I visit. I will move to RT if you do this.

98% of the time I come to IMDb only to read the messageboards. It is by far one of the best features of the site and probably the best option to discuss movies and TV shows on the Internet. Please don't take this away from us.

Just ban the trolls. When I see trolls I just ignore them, other posts are very useful, especially when you just watched a mindf*ck movie.
