Please don't do this I don't know exactly why are u doing this but IMDB messageboards is one of my happy places.........and yes you people are going to destroy yourself by using many users through this!!!!

The reason why I use IMDb is to learn more about films. From user's behind the scenes info, to recommendations, to analysis, the message boards have been the best place to find out more about all the films I watch. Without them, IMDb will be practically useless for me and like minded people, and I'll no longer use the site.

Please do not remove the message boards! I have been participating in them for over ten years. If you remove them, I will have no reason to go to IMDB.

To close the message boards is to unfairly discriminate against users that don't have social media accounts and don't want them. There are negative behaviors on social media platforms as well. Please keep all lines of communications open and don't punish all for the actions of the few.

This was a great place to come and comment on movies, TV shows and actors. If the message board are shut down, I'll just never come here again. What would be the point?

I can't believe it has come to this. Where will we all go to discuss every series and film under the sun? It's no fun to just read a synopsis alone and I hate Facebook and twitter..They're so banal and generic..The boards are not perfect, we know. But there's nowhere else quite like it. Don''t take it away.

Please let us have nice things. When I was 23 this was the forum that connected me with others dealing with Jonathan Brandeis's death when it seemed that he was a footnote in the popular press but my generation he touched greatly. Let us police ourselves. Or ignore empty people who only get joy from pain and vileness
