Petition to keep the IMDB messageboards going

There is ZERO reason to visit you now, IMDB. Don't do this.

Really sad to find out the loss of such an important part of the whole IMDB site. My favourite site on the whole of the web a big part due to the message board. A great honest place to share and express opinions, thoughts, ideas, plot explanations I could go on and on. I'm a cancer survivor but home all the time this has been a great window to keeping in touch with outside world. Pleases reconsider.

Please reconsider your decision to stop the message boards. They were the best part of your website for commentary and user reviews. I viewed them daily!

C'mon IMDb!!! You do not seem to understand how many of us rely on your Message Board feature! Like so many of your current members (who are soon-to-be-EX-members) are trying to tell you, the Message Boards are THE reason we use your website! There will be little to no reason to go to IMDb if you remove it. NOT a smart business decision

Please don't do away with the message boards!!!! They are my go to source for info.

Shutting down the message boards is the stupidest thing IMDb can do. Please leave them open!

I have been coming to IMDb for 10 years now. The Message Boards are the main reason I come here. If so~called trolls are the reason you are disabling the Boards, the only purpose this serves is to give these people what they want! Millions of people come here to discuss films & trivia that your site provides! Don't destroy all the hard work & let the bad guys win.

The main reason i use the imdb message boards is see what other people have said about movies before watching them i am not a big fan of reading 'proper' reviews... Without the message board system i will have very little use for imdb anymore

I honestly don't even visit imdb's message boards very often but in my opinion this is a step in the wrong direction. The Internet has always been a bastion for free speech and even if there are some strange and crass comments placed here are, the vast majority look for deep discussion about their favorite films and media. Retract your decision Amazon/imdb. I implore you to reconsider.

I don't pay much attention to the trolls and haters, and I like the message boards for asking and answering questions.

Please keep the message boards open. I have had IMDb as a bookmark for 10 years. I would check it daily. I will definitely remove the bookmark and never look back. What about all the IMDb pro people?

Keep the boards open! IMDb is the only place I can have meaningful discussions about films and actors on the web. Shame on you IMDb for shutting down the message boards. And Facebook is not a conducive environment for discussions in an organized fashion.

DONT DISABLE THE BOARD.

The message boards are a great way to analyze and understand shows like Westworld, have fun gossip about entertainment figures and see what others thought of content.
