I rarely posted on the boards, but I love to read them. They've consistently been the best place on the net to talk about movies. There has to be a better approach to trolls than to burn down your bridges!

There are more positive ways to deal with the issue than closing the boards down. I LOVE coming here to catch up. PLEASE don't close it down. Yes I hate the trolls, but not all boards suffer from them. There's no where else to go that's comparable.

There is a lot of content on movies in these boards that would be detrimental to see erased. I probably wouldn't go to IMDB nearly as much if at all

The forums are the reason I come to IMDB. Sure there are negatives but that's no reason to throw out the whole thing!

Come on, don't close the boards down. Its the best place for people to come together to talk about any movie, big or small or actor. It is the best thing about imdb and always has been.

The IMDB Message boards are my go to place to try to understand some confusing or subtle movies. I don't see any alternative for it either. PLEASE don't close them down.

Get rid of the true freaks, trolls and troublemakers. Most of us are nice people who love coming to IMDB everyday, MANY, MANY times a day to talk about our favorite TV shows and movies.

There is no other one-stop place else online to discuss actors and shows. VERY disappointed. On the other hand, maybe I'll get my life back now.

The IMDB message boards are great! I can't believe that IMDB would even think of getting rid of them - it's the first place I go after watching a movie, the discussions only serve to enhance the movie experience. Trolls can be managed through the ignore function - it's not an issue! Please reconsider this bizarre decision.

Please don't get rid of the boards! I come here after watching shows and movies to read different viewpoints. Will have to go to Rottten Tomatoes if you get rid of this feature.

I read the message boards after every single movie that I enjoy. You'll kill a substantial resource for discussing and finding out more about movies if you remove message boards from your site. Don't do me like dat.
