Petition to keep the IMDB messageboards going

Please don't delete the message boards. It's the only way to find out more about rare movies.

I love reading the message boards.

I've been using IMDb for 9 years, the message boards are always my first port of call after watching a movie. It's the absolute best place to discuss things. Getting rid of them is the single most stupid decision I've ever heard. If they go, I will not continue to use the site as I don't support censorship.

There is no other forum to discuss about specific movies, I hope they change their mind with this closure decision.

Getting rid of all the boards it's just a bad, bad idea.

I don't care to read reviews. I don't care to look at ratings either. Whenever I come on imdb it's to visit the message boards. Keep them or you'll lose site traffic. Don't just delete things.

I cannot believe that you are shutting down such a fabulous resource to discuss films both popular and obscure. I for one will not be as frequent a visitor to your site as one of the main reasons I visit is to see discussions on a film I just watched.

Please do not get rid of the IMDB message boards. For many, it is a great way to be able to talk about movies and performances with others.

Taking down IMDB boards sounds like something Trump would do. Down with censorship!

Keep the boards, lose the trolls...

Please don't get rid of the message boards! There are better ways to deal with trolls and rude posters that won't ruin the message board experience for the rest of us - those of us that come to discuss our favorite movies and TV shows with people around the world that share our interests. There is nowhere else on the Web where we can discuss TV and movies with others, and I will drastically reduce how much I use IMDB if the message boards feature is removed.

As someone who does not have a facebook or twitter account, the message boards here, is the main thing I love about IMDB. The discussion of different theories and interpretations is absolutely what I love. How else was I supposed to understand the ending of LOST? Please reconsider. Trolls exist in every corner of the internet, and unfortunately always will. Don't let a few, spoil this fantastic asset for the rest of us.

Best part of IMDB were the boards... but I understand that trolls have overtaken them I just hope there are better ways to deal with it.

I do not think I will have a reason to use IMDb at all anymore if this feature is taken away. There is no alternative in the entire internet to the specific and detailed discussions that could be had on the message boards, and I feel like this is a huge mistake on IMDb's part.

Please keep the boards going!It seems like they have been around forever and theres a lot of positive people on board!Dont give up!

Please don't kill the message boards. There's no comparable place on the internet elsewhere. When they're gone, I'm gone.
