I have used IMDBs message boards for many years and have found them to be an essential source of information.I love hearing peoples views and their take on the films content.I think removing the message boards would be a very unwise decision and would spoil the overall IMDB experience,which is unique to other film web sites.

Don't close the boards!!! That's the only reason I get on your damn site. To see what everyone thinks about the same movie. It's our new version of a book club. The boards make watching the movies more interesting when you go back and watch the 2nd and 3rd time. Not everyone that goes there posts their thoughts; like me.
You're taking away more than you know.

I'm a frequent user of IMDB message boards. I've made friends, and enjoy the variety of discussions I've encountered.

I don't want to go on Facebook or Twitter to find information or opinions on films that I've just watched. IMDB will be become a much less useful website without its message boards.

Please don't get rid of the message boards!! I feel at home being able to discuss films with like-minded people. If you want to apply changes, then perhaps you should create stricter rules.
