IMDb is my first place to go to for films, but to TALK about the films is literally most of the reason I go on the site. Please, keep the message boards, just update your moderation and increase security. That's all.

Having dipped in and out of the IMDB message boards for years, it'd be a real shame to see them go! Keep the message boards please IMDB, a lot of your users still enjoy this service.

Please, please don't do away with the message boards!!! I don't use Facebook or any other social media and don't care to go there for the info I receive through the message boards!! I love reading the questions and observations people leave on my favorite shows - I beg you, please don't stop the message boards!!!

IMDB is dead to me if they close the forums. I hardly ever read the reviews and went straight to the to forums to see what others thought about aspects of the movie I just watched or was about to watch. The thing that separated the Internet from TV and film was the interactivity and connections. Why are big companies now trying to remove the voice of the common person?

I do not post that often on imdb, but do refer to the boards routinely to find out answers to questions I have about something I have watched. Usually, if I have a question, it has already been asked and answered by others. I have found most other posters to be helpful in their posts and will really miss the message boards. Please reconsider.
