Petition to keep the IMDB messageboards going

Thanks the community of movie fans, I'm able to have plot points explained!

I completely disagree with you guys shutting down the boards. I've been a member here for over 12 years and have enjoyed the in depth discussions I have had with people on their concerning movies. It's the whole reason I signed up for IMDb to begin with. If you shut down the boards, I doubt I'll even go to your site anymore.

I don't know of any other site that lets you discuss entertainment so specifically. If the boards are gone I will have no reason to go to your site. I can find anything else on Wikipedia, I come to IMBD for the message boards.

Please keep the message boards up. I am a faithful user.

Please iMDB don't shut the message boards down. They were a really awesome way to discuss certain movies which aren't well known. Hopefully the goals on this petition are met!

IMDb Message Board is the best Social Media there is. Much better than Facebook where irresponsibility is overlooked.

Facebook isn't the answer to everything. Please keep the message boards

Please keep the message boards and get rid of John Musacha who has used them as a city to host his many hundreds of personalities that he views as 'characters' but in our world they are just troll accounts e.g. naeemak. Get rid of him and the problem is sorted, we can all go back to discussing FILMS, which is the best thing about IMDb

Don't let the trolls win, keep the message boards for the real IMDb and film fans!

My happiness is gone. I hate Amazon and IMDB now. I've always hated Facebook.

Please keep the message boards! It has been a part of my movie watching experience for over 10 years.

Imdb is the premiere home for worlds cinephiles but this business decision while possibly based on hard numbers will surely reduce the value of the total product. Imdb works because of it's core fans who use it for more than just checking grades. If forums go, some people will too, and then other aspects of the site will go the same way untill there is nothing left.

Forums are the only reason I use IMDb , to find info and opinions that add color to understanding a film . Forums gone, I'm gone.

Why are you shutting this down??? There's no reason for this. Shame on you!
