I don't know any movie buffs personally, so the discussion forums are the best thing about IMDb when it comes to discussing the films and actors I like with others.

I've been coming to IMDB message boards since this site started them. I come everyday to read about the TV and Movies I watch each day. This is heartbreaking news. And makes no sense because without the message boards I have no reason to visit everyday. I spend an average of two hours every night reading about the shows I watch.

The message boards are a great way of talking and discussing views on a topic we feel passionate about - our love of films and interest in actors/directors etc. Please do not take this outlet away from us, it would be sorely missed.
