There are so many incredible films that I wouldn't fully understand if it weren't for the discussions in the IMDB message boards.

Please bring back the message boards. I'm really going to the IMD web site way less than I used to because the boards were where I found the content most useful to me.

Please bring back these discussion boards. This brings a lot of meaningful and entertaining conversations about movies together, and this was always one of the main attractions of IMDb.

I really liked looking at the message boards after I would watch a movie to see if I missed something or if there was a different theory of what happened

I found boards better than the reviews sections since it was more interactive when I needed to find about a certain title.
Now only a useful feature left is Watchlist.

Bring message boards back to IMDB! I don't really even care to visit the site or use the (imdb) app anymore now that they're gone!

The message boards were great for the "this actor really looks like this other actor" discussions, especially to confirm what you were thinking! They were also a really interesting read of obscure films or plot points that needed explaining etc. Bring them back and restore them!!! Please!!!

Worst thing to happen in a long time. Sure I can discuss any new films that come out almost anywhere. But any old ones I want to revisit and discuss there are no longer any places to discuss them or ask questions. No other message board or forum had a separate board for each individual film that has ever existed.

After watching an awesome movie trailer a few minutes ago, I went to IMDb to look up the cast list and started to scroll down to see if anyone was as excited about the pending film as I am. I did a very loud and painful facepalm when I remembered D'OH! THEY TOOK AWAY THE MESSAGE BOARDS!!!!!

I love reading comments on certain actors and seeing what other people have to say about the movies i just watched. Bring back the message board! If you're so afraid of trolls then get some mods up in there, whats so damn hard?

Death to TROLLS. I'm glad IMDB messageboards are gone. Now it can just be a reference site like it was 16 years ago. If you want to talk aboput movies with other people then sign up to Letterboxd.om
