too many trolls , too much negativity - right we know. But instead of dealing with that with strict moderation disabling message boards altogether comes of as cowardice. How can you take away the discussion platform because some people misuse it when you have all the power to keep or delete users/post ?

I use the IMDB message boards every day. I have been for over a decade. Sure some of it is crap, but if you weed through it, you can find information and discussion on films and tv that you can't find any place else. Please don't kill off the messageboards! Social media isn't the same!

The message board is my go to place to read and discuss movies and TV shows. Without this, this is NO reason for me to continue to come to your site. Please keep the boards open!

I'm not a poster, but find it easier to find and read other user comments and thoughts regarding films I have just watched or are watching. It seems a bit trivial to remove this feature on an app that I frequent use and value. Please do not remove - thanks.

The forums is the glue that keeps IMDb together. It is a brilliant source of cinema knowledge. Without it so much of the IMDb magic would be lost.
