Petition to keep the IMDB messageboards going

Please keep the boards! They are the one thing making IMDB better than all the other movie sites on the net. They are your unique selling point. There's no other place to find discussions about obscure 70ies movies, to ask questions about short films, or to find out about films just shown at festivals.

I use IMDB mainly for the message boards and not much else. If they are closed I'll have to check another website to discuss movies on.

Please keep them opened. I enjoy reading them.

I would like them to remain open. I find it bery useful.

Plz don't shut it down it's been my comfort zone for years to just come and read and talk with other fans of movies

At least keep the individual movie boards. Such an insightful place for archived and ongoing discussion for practically every film ever made. :(

I have been posting on the IMDb message boards since 2000 and am deeply saddened that they will no longer exist after February 20, 2017. Please reconsider your decision on this matter.

I can understand closing down the message board if it's a matter of cost...but your message did not say that. I urge you to keep it open as there was much useful comment on it.

I look at the message boards after every movie I watch. It's a great way to see other people's reactions. Please don't take it away!

Getting rid of the message boards is ridiculous. They are the only reason I use IMDB. Otherwise, I would use Rotten Tomatoes.
