The Message Board was one of the best features of imdb; the benefits outweighed any negative comments. I enjoyed the sense of community when asking questions or making comments. There will always be trolls!

I realize Hollywood is communist, but now these actors can't handle reading about themselves. Free speech no matter what loon blurs it out should be protected. It's shameful they've considered this and now followed through.

I depended SO much on viewer comments....easy enough to move on from trolls and other stupid remarks. The good far outweighs any negatives.

Always visited the boards after watching a film especially if I didn't get it. An enjoyable experience, reading others theories or the films of Winding Refn in order best to worst and so on. It's a shame and I probably wont be visiting IMDB so much anymore..10years on the site for me.

IMDB shut down its message boards because they didn't want anymore attacks, so they let the internet trolls win. Bring back the message boards back.

May IMDB go the way of myspace for doing such a selfish and thoughtless thing. Or get smart and fix this awful mistake. I had no idea that IMDB was run by SJW femmnazies.

Please bring back the boards. A lot of us aren't fortunate enough to have groups of friends who love discussing and dissecting films as much as we do. The IMDB boards gave us an opportunity to do so with fellow film lovers; it was a therapeutic environment where any negative aspects were far outweighed by its positive aspects.

A crucial, and one of the most beloved features of the site, people from older generations could come on and reminisce and tell stories about their lives, and it usually proved to be a very great learning experience. Bring it back IMDb, don't fall for this censorship propaganda that all the major media sources are opting for recently. KEEP FREE SPEECH ALIVE.

I used to go to check something in a film, stay for the message boards. I really don't see why they thought it was a good idea to give people less reason to use the site.
