IMDB Message boards is one of the few popular places on the web that people can get together to DISCUSS any particular movie and/or TV series.
If the boards get shut down traffic to IMDB will most likely die down. Please keep the message boards!

Keep the boards. Figure out ways to reduce the "trolls" if you have to, but keep the boards. Most people can recognize a troll, and we ignore or laugh at them. Keep the boards or become blockbuster video.

The message boards are my favorite part of this site -- I can't see that I'll keep coming here at all if they are disabled.

Anytime I watch a movie I go to IMBD's boards to see what people are discussing about it. It is like a routine for me. I very very rarely use anything else on the site. Social media doesnt cut it. IMDB is useless without message boards.

without the boards i will NEVER use imdb again. its THE ONLY REASON I USE THE SITE. to talk to like minded people about shows we love.

Shutting down the whole message boards system just because of trolls is a stupid move. The boards are the primary place to discuss theories and ask questions about shows!

IMDB is a great website, but on a daily basis I check the message boards. I love checking them and seeing what people have said about the shows and movies

11 year member of the boards. Very disappointed to hear this news. Without the boards, there will be very little reason for me to visit IMDB. Facebook and Twitter are NOT a replacement for the unique experience the boards brought. Hoping Col Needham and Jeff Bezos will change their mind about this decision.
