Not being able to discuss a movie or show after watching it feels like a huge let down. I miss my fan theories. I miss being able to discuss and geek out over movies.

imdb removed the public message board for it's own greed for advertising and doing it's own paid for reviews aka adverts with actors talking about it

That was the worst move ever. I stopped visiting IMDB mainly cause i can't really comment on movies and have conversation with others who have seen them. This is just amazon turning everything it touches into a corporate cold impersonal experience.

Just finished watching a movie, had lots of questions I wanted to ask online only to realize, I can't go the message board and leave my questions for that movie anymore. Quite possibly the dumbest move imdb could made. Come back to your senses already because this is ridiculous.

As most everyone else has said I literally spend 2 minutes a month on IMDB these days instead of a few hours a week. Good job....

Whenever I watched a movie or show I would go to the message boards to see what other peoples take was on it or to see if someone posted an answer to a questions I had. Now I rarely go on the site because it is basically useless without the message board. Please bring it back.

Thats what companies like Amazon will do. Shut down things they do not fully understand. They buy things with their might and just shut down what they cannot fathom. This is the dumbest thing they could have done. Now its between IMDB and Wikipedia for information about the film. Obviously, just for the movie content - Wiki wins. I don't think I would ever go to imdb now as its become pointless. Uninstalling App as well.

Yes, bring back the message boards!! After they disappeared, I realized that they were my go to place for enlightenment...I am lost with out them. IMDB is definitely diminished without them....this is a big deal.
