Petition to keep the IMDB messageboards going

I love reading the IMDb message boards about my favorite films, shows, and stars. They are often my first stop after seeing something new. Please do not eliminate these boards from your site.

I visit the site almost daily just to read the boards

I am a long time and loyal user of IMDB message boards. I was shocked and saddened to learn you plan to discontinue them. They add such much value to IMDB and to movies in general. Please reconsider.

The lifeblood of IMDB is the message boards. There will be little point in visiting the site without them. Please reconsider this decision.

Don't kill the messengers! This is my go to place for quick info that I need about all.my shows and movies!!!

Honestly the only reason I use imdb is for the message boards. Yes there's trolling but the in depth conversations and analysis far outweighs any negativity.

Please don't shut down the message boards.

The most enjoyable, the move informative part of IMDb is not the news on the main page, not the names of the films opening this week, not the individual actor or film pages. The most enjoyable and most informative part of IMDb is the message boards where film, tv and actor fans can gather with like minded people from around the globe and discuss all aspects of entertainment. To take that away, as you are doing on 2/20/17, makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. You may as well close up shop now as why on earth would these same folks want to visit a site that silences them. Quick answer; they won't.

My guilty pleasure and helps with my insomnia, please don't take this away! If so I will boycott the site. Pretty much the only reason I use the site.

I'm so upset that the message boards are being shut down! I've gained a far greater understanding of films after participating in the boards. It's the main thing I use IMDb for.

I tend to end my night with a IMDB message board lurk. They can't shut down my favorite Go To place for entertainment!!
